Stainless Steel Roller Chain Sprockets — SS304 & SS316 for Corrosion-Critical Applications
We manufacture stainless steel sprockets in SS304 and SS316 grades across both ANSI (#25 through #100) and ISO metric (04B through 24B) standards. Designed for environments where carbon steel would corrode rapidly: food processing washdown lines, dairy and beverage conveyors, pharmaceutical filling equipment, marine chain drives, chemical plant mechanisms, and wastewater treatment systems. Electro-polished surface finish available to Ra 0.8 micrometres or finer for hygienic applications.

Material Selection Guide
Choose SS304 When:
General food processing, beverage bottling, dairy conveying, pharmaceutical environments, indoor washdown, freshwater exposure. Good all-round corrosion resistance at lower cost than SS316.
Choose SS316 When:
Marine/coastal environments, salt spray exposure, chlorinated water (swimming pool), chemical processing, acid contact, wastewater treatment plants with chlorine dosing. Superior chloride pitting resistance.
