24B Metric Roller Chain Sprocket — Extreme Heavy-Duty Chain Drives
The 24B at 38.1mm (1-1/2 inch) pitch is one of the largest commonly specified ISO metric sprockets. Engineered for applications where no smaller pitch can deliver the required torque: large-scale mining conveyors, steel mill rolling drives, port equipment, and heavy crane traversing mechanisms. Available in simplex (24B-1), duplex (24B-2), triplex (24B-3) from 9 to 114 teeth.

Extreme Torque: 38.1mm pitch handles the highest loads in the ISO metric range. Single simplex 24B can replace multi-strand configurations of smaller pitch.
Heavy Gauge Teeth: Wider, deeper tooth profiles than smaller pitch sprockets. Robust root sections resist tooth fatigue under continuous high-load operation.
4140 Alloy Steel: For mining and steel mill applications with shock loading. 655-900 MPa tensile strength with induction-hardened teeth HRC 40-50.
Split & Segmental: Available in split hub for chain-on replacement and segmental rim for large elevator applications where rim-only replacement is needed.
QD / Taper-Lock: Bushed hub options for rapid installation on large shafts. Bore capacities up to 120mm+ on larger tooth counts.
